Our story of provision ... We went through a season where we were struggling financially. We had a boxed meal already on the stove but didn't realize that it needed milk. We had no milk and no money. We were trying to figure out how to make this meal edible when there was a knock on our door. We opened the door to see Mac and Cindy Lake holding a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk. You guys were our ravens in that moment. We will never forget that night as long as we live because God used you to provide for us in such a "creative and miraculous way"!

I love you talking about what y'all did with the kids, that's what our church does with the youth at our church. Our pastor is super involved with the youth. ..they are the future leaders 🙌🙏

Such a blessing. Thank you for this Lake boys. I have 3 babies under 7 so this series has blessed me greatly!
  • Worship anointing. "There's a difference between a song leader and a worship leader." "Never prayed for you to have a good voice." Please pray for me to have the heart of worship God wants me to have. I have comparison issues and I really pray God removes that from me. But most importantly, I want to worship God in spirit and in truth. Thank you for your Words. If God wills it, please pray for me to have that worship anointing. If God chooses to put me in a position to lead his Church in worship, I pray to do it his way. I want my desires to align with his. I want that Ephesians 3:20 moment Mr. Brandon talks a lot about. I want God to blow my mind and I believe he will. He's in full control. Thank you Mr. Mac and Mr. Brandon. Please pray for me. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine, to him be glory in the Church forever and ever, amen.
  • I feel that. You wonder as a mom as well. So real! You don’t get a mom do over.

Thank you for sharing! I am so blessed by hearing your relationship and stories. Most importantly, I was blessed by just hearing that life can be fun while following God's plan for my life! Our lives don't have to look like anyone else's! Brandon's sharing of wanting to make sure miracles are happening within his home above all is powerful! I believe that sometimes we can easily think that while we pursue our dreams or follow God's calling that our families have to suffer at the expense. Or at least our guilt wants us to believe that. You two are proof that parents can pursue God's calling for their life and raise families of children at any age, in a healthy way! Thank you again for sharing 🥰

Pastor Mac looks like Brandon's older brother, not his Dad! Such an insightful conversation on Faith and Trust in God.
