I Made "Patrick! The Game" In REAL LIFE! (Spongebob)

I made a real life EXACT replica of the Spongebob Squarepants episode's board game where Patrick invents a new game! In the episode, Patrick creates a new board game and then invites Squidward, Sandy, and Spongebob over the play it.

He calls the game Patrick! The Game. And in this video, I replicate all of the game's components, down to the T. I guess there are a few things I couldn't do, can you spot them?

After recreating the board and game pieces, I write down and fill in the blanks for all the rules and gameplay. Then I reveal the game and play it with my cousin Shawn (vintage Spongebob enthusiast) and my friend who is actually named Patrick! They react to my replication exercise and rate it out of 10!

How do you think I did? :)

  • I would love to see you make "Dodj or Daar" from The Amazing World of Gumball. It's also a handmade board game with simple rules. You roll the dice, take a daar card, and complete the dare to move the number of spaces on the dice. If you don't take the dare, you have to take a dodge card and move half the spaces. A player wins if they get an exact roll on the final square of the board. The game plays like Jumanji, where whatever a dodge card says happens to the player in real life, such as the floor being lava or being frozen in place, until the game is finished

Man i never thought a person would make a board game like this. this is so accurate good job man
  • This is straight up perfection. I’d totally play it! It needs to be an official game.
  • This is so well made! Nickelodeon hire this man to make this an official game!!

Just remember that you need to roll a six to get out of jail but you can’t roll the dice when your In jail.

I remember first seeing this episode when I was younger and attempting to make my own version of "the game" I'm honestly really glad someone finally decided to make this board a real thing! It's one of my favorite episodes!!

You should 1: send this fan game to Nickelodeon 2: sell this on etsy
  • Insanely underrated. Loved the episode and I've always wanted to play the game. Great job!
  • @soon-ish
    “BUT I DON’T HAVE A HEART, I’M AN OCTOPUS!” he’s right. octopi don’t have A heart they have 3

Now all we need is for Nickelodeon to be brave enough to publish it and we can play this game without any copyright issues
  • @Ka1butsu
Dang bro! It’s so amazing to see this finally remade! Would definitely play this!

Nice... can you make "Mega City" from the "Ghost and Molly McGee" episode "Game Night"? It's basically a combination of Trouble, Manopoly, and Jinga, but it has a lot of crazy props like an actual working airhorn. You might also want to add the McGee family's macaroni-covered chore wheel to the game, in case your fellow players want to gamble, as Scratch insisted that the loser does the winner's chore (mainly in a flawed attempt to get out of bathroom duty).
  • now we need the flying dutchman’s treasure board game from the episode “Arrgh!”

imagine just walking on the sidewalk during a fine day and you see 1 person with patrick: the game around his neck, someone holding a camera and another person playing outside a house

Even though Patrick was pretty uncharacteristically rude in this episode, it was still pretty fun and I remember it clearly, probably one of the last new episodes of Spongebob I actually watched on Nick. Awesome project, super cool!
  • @ponikoTV
patrick the game is one of my favorite episodes of modern spongebob, thanks for creating such a fun game, if I had a patrick game I would play all day
  • @dragonfye1
This is GREAT. 🤣 that particular spongebob episode was VERY funny and by far one of my favorite modern era stories. The one where they make a mini golf course was really funny too.
