Chronic Illness Weekly: Student Radio Awards & Princess in Training | Week 96

Published 2019-11-12
This week on Chronic Illness Weekly I have a quiet start to the week as I prepare for a crazy weekend. The madness begins on Thursday as I head to the o2 in London for the Student Radio Awards as me and my beloved student station Livewire were nominated for the Best Station Sound category. On Friday I was back home for a job interview and then on Saturday it was time to start my new job as a princess for childrens parties which was super exciting I'm officially a Princess in Training :P Then on Sunday it was back to the day job but with a little time to celebrate my birthday with my family before work.

Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

  • Happy birthday for yesterday! Remember that growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional! So glad for you about the fundraising rôle. It could be right up your street xxxxxxxx
  • Jenni, has your Mum discovered the “Vegetarian Butcher” range yet? They’re soya based and so far we’ve tried the “chicken” and the “beef” burgers. We really like them and they’re kosher friendly for us too! The “chicken” isn’t nearly as peppery and more texturally correct than Quorn..... let me know what you think of you can try them xxxxx
