Rein gaining movement speed on barrier break is something people have been asking for for awhile. Maybe the devs are taking the opportunity to test it

I really hope they look at these modes as a soft way to test new ideas for heroes. Either as a remake or for new characters.

They could literally balance these variations and add them as their own characters and bulk out the roster. Wouldn't even be hard.
