Kempes 1978 Maradona 1986 Messi 2022
-
Years later Messi brings it back

In 50 years of watching football, I have never, ever heard a crowd make a noise to compare to that day in Buenos Aries. Fantastic.

Holanda Word Cup - Final: 1974 - Final: 1978 - Semifinal: 1998 - Final: 2010 - Semifinal 2014

Kempes doesn’t get as much love as Maradona or Messi. Underrated.
-
Messi brought it home for the third time 2022 ❤️🇦🇷
-
That second Argentine goal is eerily similar to that of Alvarez second goal in the Croatia game in the 22 World Cup where he took the ball and ran, bounced it off a player in the penalty box evaded the keeper and still scored. It's pure magic almost defies the laws of physics
-
In the final which Argentina won, they scored 3 goal (3-1 vs Netherlands, 3-2 vs West Germany and 3-3 vs France)
-
Team Argentina 1978 was fantastic, Kempes and Luque what a great players.
-
Kempes was a beast, unbelievable.
-
Mario (1978) Maradona (1986) Messi (2022) to be able to become champion argentina requires an icon who uses the left foot
-
Who’s here after Argentina won WC 2022?
-
One of the best wcfinal. Both teams played attacking football and skillfully.Very fortunate to watch it live back in the 78...

-
3rd WC win for Argentina today
-
One of my favorite matches in World Cup history. The audience reaction is outstanding.
-
Three names stuck in different era. Mario, Maradonna, Messie
-
Classic celebrations. Remind me of the earlier FIFA video games😂
-
Alberto Mario Kempes 🇦🇷💙

Yes, the Dutch were technically awesome but boy, the Argentine attacks were so fluid and impressive. Kempes and Luque were like swashbuckling cavaliers leading one thrilling charge after another.
