Everybody celebrates Flatleys success because he has natural talent and worked incredibly hard to get there. He deserves it all.
  • Michael Flatley employed generations of craftspeople and artisans in the restoration of Castle Hyde- deliberately making sure that specialist crafts survived and were handed on among craftspeople all over Ireland. Another of his significant contributions to the Arts in Ireland. Thank you Michael.

Met Michael the other day.  He is such a nice humble guy that you would want to be friends with.  His wife and son are very lovely too, good luck to them all.

Had the pleasure of meeting Michael Flatley in the states during the Celtic Tiger Tour. When he was leaving the arena just a handful of Us were standing on the sidewalk waving goodbye to him and his limo stopped! Michael Flatley steps out of the vehicle greeted and chatted with us about the show, he was the nicest ever! we couldn't believe it! Michael signed our programs took pictures with us and he signed my Tribute to America Leather Jacket in silver pin! Thank You Michael for your kindness, the very best to You!

What a grand home! Very tastefully and respectfully renovated!Well deserved, too.
  • I’m so glad he bought this gorgeous place and restored it...very few could have pulled it off, but after all he’s done for Irish dance and Ireland herself, it’s fitting that he continued it by restoring a piece of her history as well. Some say he’s nothing but a raving egomaniac, but it’s simply not true. He has worked bloody hard to be as excellent as he is and was in this art form of dance. He is simply the best in the world, and it’s a well deserved title. There’s no doubt about it though - like so many, love has smoothed out the rougher edges in him. He’s even more appealing now at his age than he was when he exploded into the public eye 30+ years ago in Riverdance.

I remember that time at the Eurovision when he and his lovely partner and dancing team made it alright to be of Irish decent in England again. A dance did the work of a thousand diplomats and politicians.
  • I feel there is one more event before it sells. Loved how he talks about his father. I miss my Irish father too.
  • Everything he' got he's worth having because he actually worked so very much for a good period of his life....his youth...May you be blessed Mr Flatley for the joy you brought us ! Be healthy and enjoy life as many years as possible !

He has given that house another 300 years of life, well done Michael, I would do the same if I could.

This tough cookie deserves everything he's worked so hard for. I hope he's still dancing. And enjoying his life. Judy
