Man I can’t even imagine, being that young, losing my dad, playing my dads set, with my dads band, to that song and keeping it together.

Played with the passion, sadness, and the anger of a 16 year old kid who just lost his father. Gives me chills.

I absolutely adore how the band changed pace as Shane did to keep the flow and Grohl looked back and gave him the queues he needed to hit his marks and get back on time. That was incredible. That kid is going to be an absolute legend on drums some day.

I'm literally crying. 43 years old, by myself, wife and kids sound asleep. I can't imagine the courage that he had to get up in front of all these people, maintain his composure and play this song in front of thousands of people, in tribute to an incredible artist and genuinely amazing human being, his father........RIP Taylor.

Dave lost Kurt in 1994. Then, he lost Taylor Hawkins in 2022 and his mom. Dave is a fighter and a legend. I love this freaking dude.

At 3:53 when Dave gradually builds up to the bridge was absolute perfection. He didn’t think Shane would be able to move so quickly but the kid proved him wrong.
