On this adventure, we swim with the fishes at Shark's Cove, one of Oahu's best snorkeling locations!

Last week's episode:    • OAHU - Nuuanu Pali, Helena's & Paradi...
-----

We made our way from our hotel, Paradise Bay Resort north of Kaneohe, to snorkel at what we were told was an awesome spot to snorkel on Oahu. About a 45 minute to an hour drive along the north shore, we stopped at the Aji Limo food truck for a quick snack before jumping in the ocean.

While there was a fair amount of people, there was plenty of space to spread out and eventually plenty of fish to see. Be sure to bring rock shoes if you decide to visit because the walk in can be pretty rough!

Absolutely worth a stop, the area of Pupukea is quaint and laid back with a small surf town vibe. Rightfully so as the neighboring beach is home to the Banzai Pipeline, a famous surfing spot and home to some of the biggest waves on the island. Shark's cove is also just north of Waimea bay and valley, another worthwhile stop on your trip to the northwest side of the island!

Be sure to stay tuned for more great content! Coming up next, our experience at the Toa Luau in Waimea Valley! Thanks for watching, be sure to subscribe, we'll see you in the next one!

My wife and I just left Oahu, spent 3 of our 6 days in the North Shore. Maybe just the time of year but it's quite a bit different looking now due to higher tides. Still a must goto spot for some snorkeling and fun. Also our hearts go out to everyone in Maui, God bless and speedy recovery, God speed.
  • The food looked delicious and snorkelling looked fun! Such a beautiful place! ❤️
  • Did you see that humuhumunukunukuapua'a at 5:18??? We didn't catch that until editing! Looks like plenty of convict tang, pacific chub, and raccoon butterflyfish. Can you identify any other fish??
  • I love that you guys are such burger people and eat them whenever you go I do the same thing 🍔 💕

You stayed in the baby tide pools. Nice place to visit, but the real action is to the right where the channel is. It gets deeper and there are two nice walls on either side. Honu love those walls for feeding and it’s nice and deep - more honu action.

We have been dying to go there! Hopefully one of these days soon!

Nice vid. We're thinking about going in a few weeks. BTW, why didn't you check out the places across the street from Sharks Cove, like North shore Taco's? Fantastic!
  • Hi! We are heading to Sharks Cove next week. Are fins and buoyancy vests overkill for the dove?!
  • @heatherlin7
I don’t know how you managed to spell the name of that fish! 😳
  • Is there a near by place that we can rent snorkeling equipment?
  • @gona9219
I hope I can do it but I don’t know how to swim

Hey bro, next time you're on the archipelago make sure you buy local. I watched your video and it seems you want to bet on that level. Aloha guys.

Be careful when anyone goes here. Look out for your belongings and don’t leave anything valuable. We went two weeks ago and we got our bag/cellphone/clothes/wallet& our rental vehicle stolen. They wait and look for tourists that they can steal from. Be careful!!!!!!!!
