Following my renewed excitement for the Barons' War, I put together a new solo battle report, this time playing the Hero Slayer scenario. A ragged band of woodland outlaws have a retinue of sergeants squeezed on both sides. Will they be able to punch through or face their doom from a hidden arrow?

Thank you for the entertaining battle report and supporting Baron’s War on Youtbube. It’s really appreciated along with all the other BW content creators! Paul and Andy.

More The Barons’ War is awesome. Keep em coming regardless of if you get any rules wrong. It’s all part of the fun in learning a game.

Very enjoyable battle my friend! Beautiful minis and table set up!

Fantastic video - I love watching batreps like this as it helps me with my understanding of the rules too! I've played a handful of games and every single time we forget something else. I think I can help with a couple of the rules queries In one of the early turns you mentioned about moving Robin Hood twice, but didn't want him to be weary in the next turns - I'm pretty sure that unless they're shocked or broken (broken groups have to pass a morale check to remove the weary token I think?) then all groups take off weary tokens at the end of the turn. Also, for archers looking to move and shoot I'm pretty sure it's one action, I can't remember if it's in the FAQ or was asked as a question on the Facebook group. Essentially every bloody Sunday is an ability activation, so you put down 1 ability token and then you can move and shoot combined. Table looks fantastic too, I can't wait to see more videos!

Great battle report, really nice table too. Just discovered your channel so you have a new subscriber, had my first game of barons war on Tuesday and really enjoyed it.

Another great battle report, Shane. It was very cool to see Robin Hood and his outlaws hit the table. Your table looks great as always. Did you make those rough terrain pieces yourself?
  • Great Stuff, we just got into Barron's war, we will also cover this on our channel. Great game!
  • I’d love to see a tabletop game, but the pieces move, and they actually break eachother permanently Your favourite knight mini gets his head bashed in with a Mace, and it’s just gone. You gotta buy a new one
  • I Just start to build my one force with the Same target. Play the death and tax Camp. solo. I try build every terrain by my one, but i love your houses. :)
