‘Robert was a drunken fool but he didn’t enjoy cruelty’. Well shit Cersei, think Joffrey takes after you!

Imagine being a sibling of three and knowing your brother is giving it to your sister.
  • Tyrion comforting his sister, reminding her that she gave birth to two adorable children, not just a little prick, that's powerful.
  • I love how you could really tell he wanted to comfort her beyond words, but the hostile history between them couldnt even allow for the slightest condolences, and it killed them both you can see it

Season 2 Tyrion: "It's hard to put a leash on a dog once you've put a crown on its head" Season 8 Tyrion: "Varys no cock lmao"
  • Even though this scene isn't in the books, I love it. The way that Cersei pretty much lets Tyrion know that Jaime is the father of her children, and, despite that fact, Tyrion tries to sympathize with her, it's very touching. I just love how GRRM makes most of his characters so dimensional with their shades of grey.

I miss this Cersei. She's a human character here. A bad person, certainly, but a person nonetheless. Not this caricature cartoon villain she's become.
  • Who murdered Jon Arryn?” Cersei yanked her hand back. “How should I know?” “The grieving widow in the Eyrie seems to think it was me. Where did she come by that notion, I wonder?” “I’m sure I don’t know. That fool Eddard Stark accused me of the same thing. He hinted that Lord Arryn suspected or . . . well, believed . . .” “That you were fucking our sweet Jaime?” She slapped him. “Did you think I was as blind as Father?” Tyrion rubbed his cheek. “Who you lie with is no matter to me . . . although it doesn’t seem quite just that you should open your legs for one brother and not the other.” She slapped him. “Be gentle, Cersei, I’m only jesting with you. If truth be told, I’d sooner have a nice whore. I never understood what Jaime saw in you, apart from his own reflection.” She slapped him

In this scene they almost seems like normal siblings. You know, the kind that just occasionally joke about killing one another and not the kind that actually worry about whether or not they'll follow through.

Watching this scene after the most recent season is straight-up heartbreaking.

Tyrion doesn’t hate Cersei as a sister. He just hates how cruel she is towards him and others :’(

2:03 Tyrion about to comfort Cersei till she was like 'step back i still haven't forgotten you killed our mother'

I think that despite hating Tyrion, Cersei enjoys talking with him about her problems, because he is the wisest of all the people who already know her secrets.

The part where Cersei mentions the gods flipping a coin to see if the child born of two siblings will be sane or insane. She thought for a moment that the gods had flip insane for Joffrey. But when Tyrion said that she has beaten the odds. That two out of her three children have been saved. I think for a moment she felt happy, that she did beat the odds.

A moment of rare solidarity between Cersei and Tyrion, a moment where these two truly were brother and sister.
  • Joffrey obviously takes after Cersei she’s just to delusional to see it
  • @Eftel94
I miss Cersei with her long beautiful hair
  • Cercei adored Joffrey's Wanton brutality in the books though. She thought her son is gallant, strong and willful. Always ignored his cruelty. Since Cersei herself has no compassion for anyone. There was a time, when Joff was little. He saw a pregnant cat at castle kitchen. He asked the cook why is she all swollen, and the cook told her that she has baby kittens in her. Joff took his dagger and opened the belly of the cat. And brought the kittens to his father's foot to show them. Robert was shocked and disgusted, he hit the boy so hard Joff lost a tooth. And Cersei was like 'That brute hit my son, just for some mishap with a worthless cat'
