Watching this made me remember that my dad was really great at this when I was a kid. Our whole house was basically an art gallery of his work, which most people didn’t really seem to understand because it was indeed very surreal.
  • Hi Laura, I love this. Thank you for sharing these collage techniques. I love surreal art and I love collage but I am a bit daunted by it. I feel a bit more confident now after your tutorial. Your collages are simple to understand and are very inspiring. Thank you again. From Pam, from over the pond!

  • Thank you for sharing these techniques! I have a TON of magazines that were my grandfather's that I saved from reaching the dump. So far looks like from 1939 up to 1982 and I'm SO pumped to be able to put some of them to use and play around with techniques such as this! Thanks for sharing!

  • So cool!!!!! Great way of teaching it in such a simplistic way such that we can have a solid foundation based on experience and technique that is needed to make and take art into the limitless imagination, intellect and all that is there for us within our own unique, cultural, historical, learned,, inter generational and environmental selves and as a whole of all our relations. Wow, that was a lot, anyway, thank you for this collage lesson.
