The first time I listened to this music, it touched emotions deep within my heart. I felt so sad I just wanted to cry. It touched a place I didn't want to know was there, where all the pieces of my broken heart were, all my crushed dreams, all my hopes that had been dashed to pieces. But I couldn't stay away, no matter how much it hurt to listen. So I came back again and again, over and over and listened to it hours on end until one day I realized those dark places where I was afraid to look were slowly beginning to heal. My heart won't ever be whole again, it's been patched too many times and there are whole chunks missing. I still don't understand how this music found me and could have known what I needed and how it helps me to heal every time I listen. It's my most cherished piece of Peder Hellend's music and I listen to it every moment that I can. Peder's ability to compose music must surely come from God because no one else but God could have known about my buried pain and how to begin healing it. Thank you God and thank you Peder for this divine, awesome and unique masterpiece of music!
