NORAD scrambled fighters to track and intercept Chinese and Russian military aircraft after they were detected in international airspace near Alaska.

    Those are fuel tanks. Maybe they had to travel to intercept those aircraft, but with extra fuel, they can follow / escort those bomber. If they need to Rock n Roll, they can jettision those fuel tanks.

    Why do fighters have bombs on them? Maybe fuel but looks like bombs with fins on the rear. I would expect air to air missiles so this looks like video game footage.
