This show doesn’t exist without the writing. So glad that Jeremy Strong said that, and made that point.
  • I never felt this sorry for a character in TV show like I did for Kendall. I am aware of all his flaws and shortcomings. But I think it's the performance of Jeremy strong that made me feel devastated for Kendall. In awe of his performance and infact all the three siblings.

Jeremy did a phenomenal job on the show - A serious guy in a serious role. Very well done, man!

Jeremy is so superb in this final episode. Just incredible.

The way he said "I'm the eldest boy" and the whole monologue after that, it came across as funny and painful at the same time, like I initially laughed and after letting it settle in, understood that he's a shell of a man who only has one thing going for him, for it to be taken from him essentially takes everything away. Beautiful. Truly one of the best pieces of TV since Breaking bad.

The fact that he goes out of his way multiple times to appreciate the work of the writers says it all for me. Team Kendall and Jeremy Strong all the way.

Thank you, Jeremy Strong, and everyone involved in this masterpiece.

He still hasn't come out of it, that is a great performance.
  • I am still processing the final episode. That hand-touch scene between Shiv and Tom is one of those scenes I will never forget.

I still haven’t recovered from the final episode. 💔 This is the best show on television. Best writing. Best acting. Great to hear the thoughtful perspective on the show from Jeremy Strong. Best interview Anderson has done in a while.

I appreciate how seriously Jeremy Strong takes his craft. I was heartbroken when the show ended - similar to how I felt when Six Feet Under ended

So, so good. "I'm the eldest boy!" just gives me chills. The tragedy of it all.

That non holding hands hand hold says sooooo much! Everything and everyone in the show was utterly amazing! Now that it's over, time to binge from the beginning.

It’s a testament to the show’s quality and influence on the culture that the brilliant Jeremy Strong is here being interviewed by Anderson and also a way for us fans to somewhat recover from the tragedy of that series finale. Jeremy has an earnestness and intelligence about him that fascinates and impresses me, and his performance in this finale and in this series has been nothing short of incredible. And I love that he mentioned how the writing is paramount especially with the current strike. Going to miss this show.

I truly think that this combination of actors, writers, directors, cinematographers, and so on, only come around maybe a few times in a decade to put together such a high piece of art/entertainment. honestly my favorite show of all time.

I love the fact that they all sound like their characters when speaking. Initially I thought all the "sort of"s and filler words were baked into the script but no thats really how they talk. The actor that plays Greg really says those awkward funny lines too. Just saw an interview with him. Why is this show ending? 😩
  • @matthewmccarty6508
I think the choice for the writers to have Kendall say “I’m the eldest BOY” is just so perfect. They all are just children playing dress up make-believe
