Episode Notes:

1. Saturn footage from real hardware.

2. When Joe approached me for this video, I had already been considering asking him to join me. Needless to say, it worked out great.

3. My best friend and I ordered import Saturn games in tandem. We'd often get games at the same time, or one right after another. Panzer Dragoon and Astal being a pair we scored back to back at their Japanese launches.

4. Had Joe not chosen Panzer 1, it would have been my first choice.

Super glad that you choose Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei Dos Due Ni. That stage is absolutely my favorite in the game as well. I was gonna choose that game but then discovered my save file was missing. I was "teh sads" as the kids back in the mid-2000s internets say. But then I thought "Hell, the first game has some fantastic stages as well!" I had also thought briefly about doing Shinobi Legions, though my favorite stage would probably be stage 3 (I think??) where the dinosaur heads some down on you. It's just so silly and it amuses me greatly.

When Sega Lord X and Game Sack collab we’re in heaven, I hope to see you two make more collaborations in the future, Don’t get me wrong Dave will never be replaced but I gladly welcome Sega Lord X as a guest in Game Sack any day or vice versa!
  • joe from gamesack? he’s probably one of my top two all-time favorite gamesackers, easily
  • @darkman4811
Yes! The only cross-over that's worth a damn! Joe needs to have Sega Lord X as a guest on his show for the ULTIMATE MEGA POWER! Or just have him protect Joe's copy of Snatcher from Dave. Whichever works. Speaking of favorite stages, I've always enjoyed the stage with the Meathead gang in the forest from Guardian Heroes. They always reminded me of the Ginyu Force.
  • Finally a multiverse crossover that's actually good 👌🏼👍🏽
  • @jameswalt1
God yes. This is like when everyone wanted an Aliens x Predator crossover movie — except this is actually amazing.
  • @Avarice666
This might be one of the most perfect collaborations that makes sense in every level. Great work guys!

Game Sack Joe is welcome any time. This channel has made me a full-blown Saturn convert, lately it's almost all I play. I could've bought three PS5s by now with the money I've spent on Saturn stuff, but absolutely zero regrets there. In a previous comment on the favourite Genesis levels video I mentioned my love for Sokyugurentai's stage 3. A second one that jumps out at me is that first stage of Hang On GP '95. I know you didn't click with this one, but once I came to grips with the controls I came to really like it, especially with the analog pad.   The first track is the most perfect in the whole Hang On series, it can go toe to toe with any Sega race track for my money. The theme music is so hype, it's perfect for an intense sportsbike race. The track itself is bright and colourful, with tunnels, all sorts of curves, a grandstand, Easter Island heads, celebratory balloons flying up on the final lap, and a silky smooth frame rate without major pop-in problems. Racing it in first person with that awesome tune going, leaning off your bike with the highside mechanic as that tropical sunny, Saturn-y world whooshes by at 200 KMPH, it's absolute video game paradise.
  • Glad you guys know each other in real Life,Sega lord x and Joe redifer are my favorite RETRO gamers on you tube, keep on rocking guys
  • Two of my favorite YouTubers talking about my favorite Sega console. Totally awesome! 😀
  • Nights into Dreams stage 1 for me will always be remembered. The music to that first stage set the mode perfectly. Couldn’t agree more with the classic Daytona song and the art work of Astal.

OMG! JOE! This is such a great crossover! Sega Game Lord Sack
  • @EmberGyaru
What a phenomenal collab!! A few months back, I went through hundreds (thousands?) of YouTube subs I'd accumulated throughout many years and pared way, way down. It took quite awhile. But I for sure kept the Sega Lord X himself and Mr Game Sack: two of my favs! Really awesome to see you together. I hope for potential X/Sack collabs in the future ^_^
  • @mikeyyls2044
Best crossover since the Jetsons met the Flintstones!
  • @MiloSkelly
12:20 I like how Joe contains himself to not say "TATE MOOODE!" like he does on his show. Great crossover! I'd love to see some more.
