Thanks to the China Belt and Road initiative that the west has finally come out to help those countries that they have chosen to ignore before. Had it not been for China, the west would not have lifted a finger to help those countries that they are now offering to help just to counter China's effort. This is a great achievement by China to get the west to help those countries.

The world knows the debt trap in BRI. Also the level headed people of these countries know. The common man also know. But the problem is with the corrupt politicians who approve the grand BRI initiatives with their pockets lined enough and more. Or if politicians do no budge they are toppled, case point is the Myanmar. What these developed countries propose to do is only a post mortem, not repair
