Published 2023-11-25
Today on Give Me a Break I talk about The Mandela Effect and the dangers of pseudoscientific conspiracy theories. This is more of an opinion piece, and not so much an explanation of alleged examples of The Mandela Effect.

The dangers of "pseudoscientific conspiracy theories" are up there with the perils of authority figure fallacies. You know, after someone has been credited as a supposed know-it-all about stuff, the small people (such as conspiracy lunatics) should shut the fuck up... even if they happen to be right about stuff, because the know-it-all outranks him (at knowing stuff). This happens a lot, trust me.

Well, unfortunately for you, this phenomenon includes at least a few hundred other changes. I personally remember Nelson Mandela becoming president of South Africa. But there tons of other things that have changed for me , without a doubt.
