Is The NEW Golden Pass In Disney Speedstorm Worth It? Golden Pass Complete Guide

After having to wait for Disney Speedstorm to update on my Switch, I can definitely say that I have enjoyed the Wreck-it Ralph season thus far. I did manage to get upgrade tokens for the first and second halves of the seasons (the first one I bought before the update was complete, and the second one I bought after by accident). I knew right away that the Sugar Rush Speedway track would represent the film, adding a "Level Ate" theme to Speedstorm. Strangely, Vanellope and Ralph were the only new characters to have been given voice clips, as Felix, Calhoun, and King Candy are all mute. (What is this? The first two Nickelodeon Kart Racers games? Were the actors/actresses of those characters unable to reprise their roles?) Thanks to the new system of Upgrade Coins, I was able to get some previous racers upgraded to new levels. For the ones from the Frozen season, I got Olaf to 2 stars and Anna to 3 stars. I'm also glad that Speedstorm retained the Daily Boost challenge and added new characters to it. As a result, I'm now able to get shards for characters like Oswald and Olaf. Unfortunately, I was not able to play King Candy's challenge, at least not yet; when I tried playing it, it crashed. (Though this makes perfect sense if you've seen Wreck-it Ralph, specifically Turbo's backstory.) I hope this gets fixed soon so I can play it.

Maybe you could talk about Ranked mode now that everyone is a level 50 does it balances itself out in a way?...or someone with a level 30 racer racing against a room full of 50s now

So question says 25 days left does it end and second part starts?? Doesn’t seem enough time to do it also do u get the 2nd part from the first part as in I used a golden pass does it work for part 2 or do I only get part 1

Where can I find the golden pass credits I bought?

I decided to buy the welcome pack for 30, took my saved tokens, and bought 6 golden pass tokens. If I'm gonna pay 20$ for 1 season, I might as well pay 30$ for 3 seasons. Regrettably i havent liked the new characters. Vanellope's unique abilities are useless if shes ahead and her charged ability feels weird jerking you around side to side. I like felix and king candy's abilities but being silent just feels so weird i dont like playing as them. I hope they get patched. Which makes Ralph my favorite of the new group until calhoun comes out at least.

I love that you're keeping us updated. Please make a video on racer upgrading please! I don't want to upgrade the wrong racers until I know a breakdown of how it works and also who is needed deeper in the season tour.

Very tough call. Considering I'll realistically have 2 or with a lot of effort 3 pass tokens for entire remaining lifespan of the game...I'll probably should save them for more preferred season (like Lion King or Zootopia in my case, I doubt Brother Bear is big enough for a season). But then there is also a question of season tour and limited events completion...I expect just as much gatekeeping with specific characters as it was before. Very tough but I suppose F2P should prepare and get used to famine. Time will tell will it be tolerable to stick around or a reason to move on.

Can you purchase multiple golden passes and use them for later seasons? I have 2000 tokens and want sure if it was better to spend them on golden passes or if they expire after each season like the other currency?

Can someone explain to me what exactly the Golden pass credit pack does? If you purchase it will you be able to get the golden pass or? I am so confused.

The story season rewards are not that great in comparison to last seasons. It’s mostly coins, ect vs character shards. I’m so glad I was able to grind and unlock like 5-6 characters Aladdin, Sulley, Pete, Lilo at the end. I’m a free player lol. I think the season pass isn’t a bad deal like you said if you really want those characters. For me, it’s not a MUST. I like Wreck It Ralph but don’t love it. Lion King would’ve had my money immediately lol.

So yesterday Sky I bought 7 golden pass coins and the vault pass but allow me to explain the scenario before I bought this stuff I had 4500 blue coins stored up enough for 3 golden passes and I had gold coin from one of the arbee treasure trove packs if they had kept the old method but I also had 25 dollars in my current Nintendo account from a Nintendo gift card I got for Christmas so I used the remaining amount to buy more blue coins then I purchased the vault pass for 7.99 dollars so basically Im set for the next 3 season beyond Sugar Rush if there is 3 more seasons so putting this all together I've probably saved probably more the 60 dollars

What about the road map?

I already have 6000 tokens from ranked, if I grind like a madman this month I think I could get another couple thousand too. That's at least a half a year of passes, but I'm still torn on using them. On one hand I do like Wreck it Ralph, but on the other I don't want to regret it later. There's also some small hope they might change back to only one per season, but I won't hold my breath for that until at least season 9 or 10 and even then it's probably never gonna happen. For now I think I might begrudgingly use them, since 6 months is a long time in the world of live service games and things can easily be majorly changed by then, including the game just dying.
