Congratulations! I think this is how it was meant to be. Man and wife doing life together. Satan has done a number separating families and the almighty is working to restore His plan for those who listen to His voice.

You are not alone. I took retirement March 21, 2024. My husband has to two years ago due to 2nd heart attack. I was planning on working till age 66 but I felt the Lord said do it now. So I did. I miss my friends and stability of the hours but very slowly I have adjusted. Faith of a mustard seed. I don't miss an alarm clock either. Good luck and God blessings to come to you both.
  • Hey sweet sister! Me and my husband also left our jobs, and our home town. We traveled for 4 years preaching the gospel with no income and God provided every step of the way. Now the Lord has asked us to settle in another state & live and work here. Im excited to start things like you do. So thank you for your transparency & thank you for your videos & recipes. Praying the Lord strengthen y’all and give you peace. 🙏🏻 He’s so faithful. 🙌🏻 “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Hello Mary! I don't think I've ever made a comment on a YouTube video but wanted to share my gratitude for your work and for the vulnerability of this one in particular. I found you through Jill Winger's podcast and know that your genuine and thoughtful (and generous) style of teaching is great medicine. Making unfamiliar choices while you listen to bigger wisdom is a beautiful way to grow and to truly be held by the love that is calling for new adventures. We wish you great success and happiness from our corner of the world!

As a 73 year old, I don’t understand how one makes a living on what you’re doing. God’s plans are perfect; God bless you as you continue stepping out on faith.

Twenty-seven years ago, my husband and I decided to leave the "rat race". We bought land and one step at a time, started our ranch, full time. We jumped in full speed and with full faith In God. I understand. If you ever need an ear, I'm here in the background. Best wishes. 😊

Thank you for this video. I like how you said "not scary, but unfamiliar. " Always remember, God is good!!!!

As the Book of Isaiah tells us. Weather we turn to the right or left there is a voice behind us that says 'you are on the right path for you.' I look forward to learning more about your journey.
  • The best part of ‘going through’ with God is that in each trial or test we encounter, our spiritual muscles get stronger (faith). I think it was R.A. Torrey that said ‘the easy road is the road less likely we will see Jesus on.’ I agree with that, and am so glad, you too have encountered this glorious truth! Thanks for sharing

I can tell that it was difficult for you to make this video, because it was so personal. I get that! Your calm, peaceful, genuine presence is so very welcoming. I cannot wait to see what you do with this! Sending prayers that you are blessed with much success!
  • @camicri4263
That's so awesome! Hang onto God, He is the only one that knows what he is doing! May the Lord keep you in His will, on the narrow path! Blessings!
  • Praying for you and with you, there is no where better to be than in God’s will for your life!

Oh Mary, God bless you and your husband! My husband had a ‘decision’ made for him as well, and 5 years later, all a I can say is we trusted God, as we have done in our almost 36 years of marriage and we have never been happier, healthier, more content and ridiculously grateful for ALL the goodness and mercy Jesus has and continues to show us😇BE ENCOURAGED that you are on the right track…’For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Jeremiah 29:11🕊

May God bless ya'll, and I'm praying for ya'll. Sometimes It's hard to just follow God ,but when we do it always is a blessing.
  • Mary, You have touched a lot of hearts today. I for one will be going to your storefront and just now ordered the Nova maple syrup. I have never done such a thing. I have been wanting to try maple syrup for ages but the price held me back. Now I consider it a gift to God. Wacky? Well I'm used to that. My whole family has separated from me except for my God fearing Mama. What we gain in Christ is so much more valuable. Blessings sister Mary.

Yay!! Enjoy your time together. My Dad passed away young and I always said I’m glad that he didn’t wait till he was old to enjoy life!! My husband works construction and his health is failing but I don’t think he is willing to really look at that and it makes me uncomfortable. I would really like to simplify our lives. Maybe your husband can show us how to build some of those cool pallet projects 😊Blessings
  • @mariacooper502
Y'all are right where you are supposed to be and where God wants you to be. We are going through the same thing right now, so thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. I'm thrilled for you both!
  • Stepping out in faith when you feel the Lord’s prompting is not always easy. God bless your channel, I pray it explodes in the best possible way stay faithful! You said something I totally agree with, God always has our best interests at heart! He’s our Father, he loves us and he promises to take care of us! Have a blessed day!

I’m drawn to you sister and had no doubt that you were a born again Christian. God works in mysterious ways. He brought your videos to me so I’m happy too.
  • This video blessed me by your humble submission to The Lord and your husband as you both sought The Lord. Prayers for you and Casey !🙏🏼✝️💕
