I'm 100 hours in there is the big boss fights to come later on in the ascended realms and the vaults. But i think it's also important to remember this game is a week into early access and I'm positive we will eventually see more biome cards as STORY SPOILERS happen. Inflection Games has already been more than willing to listen to feedback and make changes if you feel strongly about it i would suggest a forum post as feed back. I'm not trying to be dismissive of your stance I just think it's something we will see on the roadmap, and while i have some things that urk me in regards to the game overall i've enjoyed my time with it.

I don't really feel misled at all. It's an early access game. Nothing is set in stone and the devs are openly soliciting advice and feedback. I think it's unfair to expect an early access game to be perfectly polished upon immediate release. It's not like BG3 which was in early access for 3 years, or Valheim which has been in EA for 4 years and counting. Meanwhile, the devs have promised that, in addition to comprehensive bug fixes and UI improvements, more biome cards are coming, which I think is exciting. Also, I think stacking minor cards would be kind of game-breaking under the current system. I think the current iteration has good bones. It's a good start. The setting is super cool. I think the basic concept of the cards is awesome and will only improve and become more refined. And I'm hopeful that, unlike most survival crafting games, this one will have an actual storyline. That'd be awesome, and worth dealing with the glitches in the short term for me. But yeah, nobody misled you about the fact that this is an incomplete game that is still rough around the edges. You signed up to fund the devs ability to keep improving and refine it. I think you can say you were misled if/when they they don't follow through on that improvement plan. I see no reason to expect that to happen. Also, I'm a little suspect of the opinion of someone who had time to put hundreds of hours into a video game that only just dropped a couple weeks ago. Maybe take a break and go touch some grass?
  • @chriszornes6976
you realize this is just the first iteration of this system right? devs stated already on discord this ISN'T its finished state. also keep in mind they still have about 40% of the game to develop
  • @tbernard1923
Nightingale is the most fun I've had playing a game. Loving it and hoping there is a lot on the horizon for the game. Best crafting system I've ever used.
  • @tonyw6451
You act like they hyped this game too much. It was nowhere near the hype of games that failed hard within the last year, and even in early access I think this beats them. The pirate one, the Star one and the Zombie one, in particular. You picked two weird things to drone on and on about. "It's not unlimited combos of maps" (I didn't expect that from the promos) and You can't "stack cards" because you woefully misunderstood how stacked was used in that sentence. Overall its a lot more thorough than I thought it would be, in terms of crafting esp. And the combat is fun, with a good reason to do melee or ranged, quick or tanky. It's really easy to customize your gear to a play style. Its also very early access, so we can expect a fair amount of things to be added or changed. btw IN FLEK SHUN

I don't feel misled. It's met my expectations thus far. We will see how the development process continues though.
  • @marcbennett9232
the first point is absolutely nit picky. personally I looked into this game the week before release, and it gave me exactly what I was expecting. does it need more variety? absolutely. it needs more chunks per biome, and more biomes. a bit more space between chunks might be useful too. ive occasionally found them too close together to actually make sense. I know they are working on an arctic biome but I hope they go harder into this. id like strange alien biomes. I also think it odd that all the places of power are on the abeyance realm. I think it would make more sense to either have a realm per place of power, like a unique one, or have one place of power on your abeyance with different sections for the different unlocks. of course I havent gotten very far yet still working on it.
  • @raeraeella6426
Stop nit picking. This is an EARLY ACCESS game. It will be full of bugs, missing features or features yet to be implemented. People nowadays seem so judgemental, entitled and eager to criticise.
  • @johnmojica4381
Well, its not really frustrating when you think its only on early access... i consider it an unofficial beta test... so voice out your complaints... they have tons of room to fix stuff before full release... i think the features they said were present up to what the game can offer in this stage.... 😊
  • @Zacharadus
At the end of the day, it's a $30 proof of concept alpha version of a game. Your concerns are understandable. There is still plenty of room for improvement and despite how few biome selections there currently are, if they do end up adding to the available biome selections and major card types, the amount of playable maps will increase significantly with every addition. I also feel like the game isn't quite what they were originally advertising, but I feel as though it certainly will become that. For now, just play until you tire of it and then come back to try the new stuff they add later!
  • @leeChMSI
i've watched your videos through a bunch of games and think you do a really good job but your take on this game makes me sad...as someone that mains survival crafting games, this game is amazing...like it's ea but people are reviewing this game like it's 1.0...this game is better than valheim(which is the only reason i know who you are) yet all i hear from reviews on thsi game is basically "why is this game so complicated?" and why are there so many different materials?"..let's be honest, if valheim and this dropped at the same time, valheim would have been dropped pretty quick and this would be considered the better of the two
  • @lastace0fspades
Everything is up to change. I dont feel like i was mislead they can still change and add more. I went to an acended astro swamp and it was almost like a blend of the forest and swamp. New bioms can always be added as well as major cards. Nothing but space and time are infinite they just used hyperbole. I like the realms but what i acctually like is the depth of the crafting. It does need alil improvement but it is early access. No man sky is almost as vast as space but it is never truly infinite but they have described it that way. Im always critical of games and devs because of past events. I wouldnt give my final opinions until it actually is in full release. Im having fun but like i said its still subject to change. Now is it going to be for the better or for the worst we dont know just got to wait
  • @Astrum11
No, it's pretty much as I expected. I did think we'd be able to set our respite estate on any realm, but so far it's only the Abeyance realm. I think people are being too harsh on this game. It has a lot of potential.
  • @dygz
Early Access - some functions are not here. I play more than just two or three Minor Cards - depending on what I specifically wish to do. And, those differences are significant. Malificent Card on one Realm for farming Bound. Treasury Eminent Card on a nother Realm for farming Essence. I dunno that stacking Cards were said to make the game harder - Tiers are higher and more difficult. Stacking all three Cards makes your GAMEPLAY signifcantly different. More resources is significant. When I'm farming Bound Ichor, I want it to be Night all the time. It's a different version of "the same thing". Nighting Gale is my favorite game of the past decade. Way better than what I was expecting.
  • @briankeller2739
I am hoping the realms will become more varied as the game ages and it gets closer to "final".
  • @Vomgnar.
I'm enjoying it quite a bit. However, I intentionally avoided the hype train. I watched maybe 2 big trailers. Stayed off the discord, etc. Going into it completely neutral, I think it's a good game, with the potential to be great.
  • @LuvU2x
I actually very much disagree with your take on the minor cards. They may not change the features or landscape of the realms, but if you use them in accordance with a certain task or goal, they speed up the gameplay by a ton and can make a pretty significant difference. I do wish you could play a couple at once but, not a big deal to me
  • @1darkthought
I think what @firespark81 is missing is that this is VERY VERY early access. The devs have made no secret that this is an Alpha.
  • @leerayner9227
I would say if this were a triple A title where you were payng £50 - £60 then your video would have some traction.. I paid £20 for it and have over 60 hours in it so far, the game is more than value for money, there is clearly going to be a Snow biome released and probably a crosbreed biome.. I feel you are being very picky for a game of such a low cost.
  • @fremduk
Minor card were removed from Portals and added to Fey tower - in pre-early access version you portal had 3 card slot Biome and Main card mandatory and optional slot for minor card ... So you had slightly more customized map from start. Current 7 realms (major card ) have 3 pre build / randomized variants - depending on with Biome card you use - so you have 3x7 = 21 different maps ( following 3 Biomes themes ) - they can be slightly modified by minor cards - though its not that big deal - same map witch minor tweaked aspect ... harvesting more , glass canon , always a day ... all 21 Realms are created from pre build section with point of interest drawn from pull of pre build locations for that specific Biome & Major card ( not that big pull - you bound to find copy of same locations on one map ) ...
