Awww She is the most fortunate swan in the world to have found you two! I also live in Orlando, so it was fun to see the lake you tried to put her on! We have such fond memories of Lake Eola. We fed the ducks and swans with our children when they were young! Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story.

We are the same way with our rescue kitty Lili who will be 13 next week. We adopted her when she was about 6 months old, and everything revolves around Lili. Vacations are the hardest! But we make it work!

This is a very heartwarming story and Lola is so beautiful. What a kind-hearted, wonderful couple for giving her a safe, loving home. I love that they went the extra mile and buuilt her a swan house in the yard and a fenced enclosure in the lake for her so that she could still enjoy being in the water and see other swans near her, but she is safe from being attacked. It's so sweet that she gets to go inside the house at night and she knows when it's bedtime. ♥
