Published 2024-06-12
Meet Curtiss Cook, star actor of the Paramount+/Showtime hit series, The Chi!

Throughout his career and life, Curtiss has continuously worked to be a strong father figure to his family and a point of inspiration for the black community. Always striving to be his authentic self, Curtiss is now speaking out on the importance of mental health. With the heavy role of ‘Douda’ and the stresses of everyday life, Curtiss began seeing a therapist and got himself a support dog named Bolo which has been a game changer for him. Wanting to normalize therapy and asking for help when needed, Curtiss implores everyone to seek the professional help they deserve. #TheChi
