I really do think there is a pattern in the antique quilt layout. If you look carefully at groups of 4, I think you will see it. I love the update!

Thank you for sharing the actual vintage quilt on which you based your new pattern. I did notice a pattern of the placement of the spools on the vintage quilt and do not think they were haphazardly placed. The quilter very thoughtfully turned every other row in the same direction. Anyway, thanks again. The Classic and Vintage tutorials are my very favorite.
