Luna, our great pyrenees, is expected to have her puppies any day now - and we may have built them the biggest whelping box ever. Great pyrenees can have up to 15 puppies (hopefully not this time) - and they grow so big, so fast.

This is a fairly easy-to-do-it-yourself build and the material cost around $100.

This whelping box is constructed with the following:

2 @ 4x8x sheets of plywood. 5/8"
1 @ 2x4x8 lumber
4 @. 10x 1.25" PVC Pipe
6 @ 1.25" PVC T Couplings
6 @ 1.25" PVC Caps

    The rails need to be out more so the puppies can get out of mums way and she can lay down and leave room for the puppies to be safe. I hope you don’t mind me letting you know

    Why is she not having puppies inside or at least in a garage the puppies may get cold
