Its Interview Time with Johnny Yong Bosch Part 2!!

It’s a shame to hear he and JDF had a falling out but from his explanation I can see why. It’s weird that things had to come to that as I had talked to JYB before Covid/Legend of the White Dragon and while he is thankful and happy to speak of his anime roles it was his career in Power Rangers that really made his eyes light up and get him excited to share stories. Each time I talked to him he would share stories of him and JDF as if the two were best friends. He mentioned how originally he thought he was only going to play the MMPR Black Ranger and was surprised at how with Zeo they were to get new suits, new colors, and a new morphing pose. He said how the Zeo morphing pose reminded him and JDF of flipping the bird and that they’d chase each other around saying it’s Morphin time doing the Zeo pose flicking each other off jokingly lol. That even after Power Rangers they stayed close and that he would come by as a family friend to JDF’s house and the two would hangout, spar, and joke around together. His stories of JDF sounded like a good friend. Hearing him talk of JDF in this video his body language, tone, eyes, looks like someone who is holding back some pain to that situation, and kinda saddened or disappointed at the lost of a close friend over something as petty as money disputes and drama. Makes me sorry for his loss if JDF and him had never gotten things worked back out before JDF passed, that would suck to lose a friendship over a dispute only to then lose them for good in death while the friendship was strained or broken.

He really did amazing job as Jonathan Joestar.

The fact that me and Jonny yong bosch have the same birthday, is what makes a voice actor even more.

I know it’s a little early to ask you but did Johnny mention to his character Jonathan Joestar?
