I think what freaks me out the most is Dirtpool getting close to his victims before killing them.. makes for an awesome dark character but def a little insane lol

Dirtpool must have been really hungry & desperate to have managed to kill cats he became "friends" with. I can't imagine me or my Ocs reaching this kind of level. What an interesting character

Absolute girlboss moment. Not the cannibalism... obviously, but like... this is so well made holy moly! I love the voice acting and when Dirtpool was like "That's rich coming from someone who came here to eat!" It just blew my mind and then with the ending where Bunnypaw closes their eyes just... the tension! Ugh, keep up the good work! These OCs are really interesting and I've never seen anything like this before! It's so unique!

I always loved this story, because in a time of a dire survival situation, cannibalism is exactly what happens in nature. It seems morally wrong, but once you know the story and that Dirtpool and his family literally survive off the cats he kills, it's just... can he really be held accountable?

when you remember his mate had an affair, the kits aren't even his if you look at an animation called mr. wolf. I just feel so bad for dirtpool.

I always love seeing ocs with good morbid stories like this! I'm such a sucker for dark stories, and there's, understandably, not a lot of them in the Warriors community. But this one is a treasure! I read the backstory, and I just love it, possibly more than I should lol. I just love how Dirtpool commits horrible actions, but it's honestly very understandable. He's desperate to survive, and more desperate to provide for his family. And I love how between this and My Way, you know he doesn't enjoy it, he just feels like he has to. The real villain to me is that Brightstar... Like, smh he's too proud to find another territory and everyone's suffering deeply for his stubbornness... It also made me contemplate a part from canon Warriors... If Warriors wasn't a children's series, and was darker, perhaps this would've been an interesting plot point during Thunderclan's "Great Hunger"...

I love this more morbid side of Warriors where cats are forced into cannibalism to survive. I'm not saying I love cannibalism bc fuck that but the idea behind it for Warriors is excellent. It adds an aspect of horror to it

I loved in the my way video how it showed him crying and eating, and the effect this gives "just close your eyes" makes me s h i v e r

I FREAKED WHEN I SAW THIS. The "My way" video you made is still one I go back to like on a monthly just to watch. I absolutely love the characters designs and to see the progress to this one took my breathe away. This video fits seamlessly with the other I love it. EDIT: THEY HAVE VOICES IMMAH ASCEND

this is absolutely beautifull and i love the shot where dirtpool looks up at the moon with that sadness in his eyes, its so pretty!! and the little scene at the end is fantastic and really captivating, the pacing is perfect imo and makes you really sympathetic for him!! all of this is just amazing~ and good luck with your uni in the future!!!! i hope you get in one day!! you would absolutely kill it there im sure

It's been such a long time since I first watched "My Way", and I was really interested in the story from that alone- so I'm really glad to see that more of his story is being told! You're an incredibly talented story writer and artist/animator, and you've improved quite a bit since "My Way". Even back then I really admired your art style, and I can't explain how pleasing your current style is to look at. Not to mention how you animate, which I would gladly watch hours of. All that to say I'm overjoyed to see Dirtpool content again and I am very invested in the story!

I don't know how to feel...4 years anticipating the rest of the story ending off of My way (though I remember reading that lil backstory thing on DA and that made everything SO much more clear..) I thought Dirtpool only ate road kill and stuff, but I didn't know he got close to his victims before brutally murdering and cannibalizing them! Makes everything so much more dark..Also the fact that Bunnypaw has resorted to doing the same as Dirtpool because of the incompetence of her leader and her hunger... I can't wait to see more of the story!

I think one of the darkest things about Dirtpool is the sheer NUMBER of victims he's taken. I count TEN cats in total in that one shot (Eleven if we count Raspberrypelt).. I bet there's been more than that though.. Gotta keep those kits fed, after all. And I absolutely love a grim, deeply dark character story, especially involving cats.
