Five months before the most consequential presidential elections in American history, Congressional Black Caucus members Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and Rep. Joyce Beatty sit down with BET News host Ed Gordon to talk about the issues that matter. Beatty reflects on President Biden’s appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court to contest voter apathy. Crockett describes how DEI programs are designed to provide equity to everyone. Waters challenges politicians and leaders to “hit the streets” to inspire voters about the upcoming election. #BET #WhatsAtStakeBET #Vote

Jasmine Crockett needs to take a leave of absence from her congress seat and hit the campaign trail for the Biden/Harris Administration. She has the platform and the voice we need to hear NOW!!!

Crockett reminds me of Waters. I see one generation passing the torch to the younger. The similarities between these 2 can’t be denied

Jasmine always brings the common sense with intelligence. She is very smart and so glad for Jasmine can take where the older ones left off and she is perfect for picking up where they were not able to complete the race. All of those three women need be making the case for President Biden.
  • Maxine Waters hit it on the nail! The problem with violence in inner cities is lack of opportunities and resources.
  • Send Ms Crockett around the country to advertise the accomplishments of this administration and to speak to the dismantling of our civil rights. She speaks our language.

I'm ashamed to be white right now. I was a young teenager during the civil rights movement. And the war protests. I was appalled at how 'us white' folks treated other human beings. Once again I 'm appalled.

Our ancestors sacrificed and died for our right to vote. Let's not take it for granted. Let's vote for democracy.

Our young folk under age 50 are Not voting. We need them to get involved. We complain but do Not vote. Our vote tells them what we stand for. We must leave a better world for our children and their children. DEI is never out of date until Black folk are treated equally. We have to fight for most positions.
  • We have to fight. More Dr. , more attorneys, more diverse professionals. We can’t be stopped. Let’s not be brainwashed, we are in this together.
