Today, we dive deep into the McLaren P1 project and we go over all the reasons it's taking a bit longer than I expected. It's still firing on all cylinders, but it's a monumental task to get this hypercar back on the road better than ever. And after that, we do a full garage update and see what's on the horizon for the channels. And yes, we have some new cars coming to the channel that will knock your socks off.

  • Just stay the course Freddy. No more stressful SEMA deadlines. Take the time to get it right none of us are going anywhere.

For the people complaining, if McLaren takes like a year or more just to get a replacement battery for customers. How tf do you think he can build this car in a shorter time. Just enjoy the build and watch our boy create history. Good luck bud! Enjoying every second 🎉

Your GT3 specifically is my favorite Porsche dude! Shamelessly obsessed with it. Thanks again for the incredible opportunity to drive it. I'm ready to go into lifetime debt when you're ready to sell it to me ;)
  • strange that people still saying about - you don't finish projects. I guess people don't know that it is very easy to "finish" the project for the video but it doesn't mean that it is actually finished. hen you see on some channels that project is done and we proudly started the next one - 9 out of 10 these projects are not complete to the state that you would call it complete. Good luck man!

Really appreciate the update. Most of us understand that this kind of build takes the amount of time it takes. Not something that can be rushed, for all kinds of reasons: complexity, cost, parts availability, specialist skills availability... Etc

The smile on your face when you get the P1 fired up for the first time will be worth waiting for! Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing the P1 screaming down a race track at 225 mph.
  • Seriously, if your grandchildren EVER finish the P1 it will be faster than our expectations. Resurrecting a flooded P1 is a monumental task. Far more complicated than building one from scratch, from a picture, that was described to you.
  • Streten and Tavarish co-wrenching on a E46 M3 has to be the best crossover of YouTube automotive enthusiast channels

Just to clarify on Carly, it does require monthly subscription so in case you don't care for something like that, get something else. It's the only reason they can sell their device for a loss and then gouge users with quite expensive monthly fees.

Dude, take all then time in the world with the P1. It's an insane project that you are doing and I don't think anyone expects it to be finished overnight. The fact that you guys built a wiring harness from scratch is absolutely crazy. Keep up the good work, look forward to more videos down the line.

Brilliant move to work with Soren from M539 Restorations to rebuild your BMW. I dislike BMW's but I cannot miss him and how methodical he is with his repair and restorations. I can't wait for it!
  • @AP-op4rc
Been a while since an update but this is such an insanely huge project that many were betting would never be done and it’s really coming along. Can’t wait for more P1 content.
  • @EminS86
I know you were friends with Mr, Rob Pitts “ Rabbit”. Fly high Mr. Pitts you will be missed! RIP

as a person that works on cables and connectors for military spec ect... that cable harness is no joke :face-blue-smiling: they ain't cheap and the labor to put it together make sure its crimp well and not frayed ect... is vey time consuming, cant rush it or else you'll be trying to find issues over a simple mistake :face-blue-smiling: takes hours or days lol especially when its going on a helicopter or plane that flys you dont want any of the wires plugs and terminals lose
  • @Roberto_79
Keep going Tav… someone once told me “if you’re going through hell, don’t stop, because if you do, you’ll still be in hell.” I believe it’s going to be amazing when you get there. ❤❤

0:07 look I'm just guessing and haven't watched all of it yet but I think it's possible it's hard to rebuild a P1.
