Why are you not interviewing any of the protest leaders? As for kids having no idea, they see dead children killed with weapons that USA gave to Israel. Politics are indeed complex, but images of dead and starving kids are not.
  • @LA3Music
you are coming off as very tone deaf
  • Joe sounds like the same people who were yelling about Vietnam protesters.
  • @realkunalkapoor
I like watching Morning Joe occasionally but this is such asinine, cherry picked, anecdotal & utterly predictable corporate media commentary regarding student protesters.
  • @Blitizen
The only ignorance is coming from Joe.

One thing I have learned in my 57 years, kids protesting against a war on college campuses have never been wrong.
  • I usually like Morning Joe, but this was hard to watch. I agree that the protesters need to be peaceful, but there is a big difference between saying that and saying the kinds of things Joe was repeatedly saying -- which felt much more like some Fox news nonsense. The repeated use of words like "woke" and "kids" and "elitist" was just gross. It seemed as though Joe has a problem with allyship and activism and that's not cool. Obviously the destruction of property and any threats of violence are not ok and those students should be arrested and held accountable for their actions, but it seemed like Joe was calling for mass arrests and expulsions of all the students who were protesting and again, that feels like a very Fox news, right wing, extremist rhetoric and I was surprised to hear that kind of thing on Morning Joe. I really enjoy Morning Joe, like I said, so I hope they see this and reflect on what they said and realize where things went south and make an effort to do better in future. I do not think this report reflects well on them at all.

You don't get to tell them how to express their freedom.
  • @Mountainrnemt
As a daily watcher of your show your discussion about campus protest is one of the most ignorant I have ever heard on this show. Please do better 🙏🏻

Why is it hard to look at the situation from Palestinian perspective? Your home occupied, and rulled by Israel your whole life doesn't seem too hard to imagine does it?
  • @ecamp6360
Joe, you're losing me. You are wrong on the protests, the students, and everything. You are still living in the 1960s when it comes to protest. There are no outside agitators except for Mayor Adams, Speaker Johnson and the police.

unsubscribed.. cus they not Jan 6..dont compare them to that.

I also believe that you are trivializing what Israel is doing to Palestinians. How can you be heard if most politicians are bought by AIPAC and Netanyahu's determination to ethnically cleanse Palestine. Israel is not a democracy, it is an apartheid that occupies another people's country. I lived there doing peacekeeping work and met many Jews that supported Palestinians and protested against Israel. Many of the college students are aware of what is really happening and that protesting won't make much difference. I do not condone violence unless it is done to save lives.

WHY DOES THIS GUY INSIST ON TALKING OVER EVERYONE??? I'd like to hear what the other talking heads have to say!
  • @charliegalliher
Maybe it’s not as complex as you think. They see children dying and they do not accept it. It’s not hard to comprehend.
  • @tgaskins6982
For the first time in United States history, we have elected a criminal for president who is claiming he needs immunity.
  • @James-bv4rs
When i was in high school in 71, we had protests in which i participated. No violence, no police, only policy change. You can change the world without being violent.
  • @1066keefurban
Jo speaks of "complex issues" while children are being deprived of life. Your complicity is abhorrent. Free Palestine
