On your wires that are your + and - wires can you connect a led on those 2 wires so you can make sure that it is getting power when the switch is turned on in either direction? 3:40
  • Hi! Your video is awesome and I’m a huge fan of your work! I wanted to ask how you would connect two motors to the DPDT switch? Are they both connected to the same two prongs in the middle? How does one go up and one go down that way?

hi, so how do i wire a 3 pin 2 way dpdt switch that connects from motor to switch then battery ?
  • Wait where's the third wire from the servo ? (Servo motors usually have 3 wires, 2 for power and 1 for PWM.)

I am wiring a wireless stoplight. I have two power supplies going to power the main relay for the light. 1 12v 7ah sealed rechargeable battery. Other is transformer power 12v 2.5a would a DPDT Switch work for switching between which power goes to the relay board to power the system. Only one supply should be active at once. Thanks

Hi. Im making a can crusher but the linear actuator im using is 220v. Will this switch wiring method work?
  • Please can u do one with a different switch like the 3 prong rocket switches thank you
  • I have a On-Off-On DPDT Switch. Is there a way I can solder wires to all six terminals so I can use it in a 3 way wiring scheme? For example, I have a negative wire on terminal 1 (NC), positive wire on terminal 2 (COM), negative wire on terminal 3 (NO), positive wire on terminal 4 (NC), negative wire on terminal 5 (COM), and positive wire on terminal 6 (NO). Or do I have to crossover the wires? This is very confusing. And I wanted to see videos of switches actually wired up so I know what I'm looking at.
