Great video! Loved the focus on more “affordable” trucks. I am buying at the end of 2024. I am leaning midsize with a max budget of $45,000 plus/minus $2,500. Given that we tow a small 2,900 lb camper and haul camping gear, we will cross shop base trim 1/2 ton 4WD trucks as well.

An “affordable” $50k truck is $1246 per month for 48 months not to mention increased insurance costs. Absolutely insane, people are getting into so much debt and destroying their families chance of financial stability.
-
A $60k loan at 3.9% for 5 years which is a good rate right now is $1100 a month. Who can afford that much?
-
Affordable should be considered under 30k
-
NOBODY CAN AFFORD THESE TRUCKS ANYMORE!!
-
"Look how affordable! Only $60,000!" 🤨
-
Hey Ford, remember that time the base maverick was launched at $19,995? No? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
-
Didn’t see a single affordable vehicle in this whole video
-
The fact that a plain 4x4 truck with a V6 is over $50k is absolutely INSANE!
-
Stop trying to think that 60k is affordable what in the hell is in the air in Colorado?
-
We bought a Tundra SR5 double cab with a 6’ bed, 4WD in 2010. I paid only $22K in 2010. Today the same truck is more than double the price. My income hasn’t more than doubled in 14 years, but Toyota (and every other automaker thinks it has). This is why people can no longer afford the OVERPRICED vehicles.
-
Ram Rebel, 4 yrs ago: $55k. Now $77k, or 40% more. Insane.
-
Bring back vinyl floors, bench seats, column shifters, manual windows and no computer screens in the dash. Edit: vent windows too !
-
It's crazy to think just a few years ago, the Platinum models were roughly $52k. Now that barely gets you into a base model!
-
These prices are out of control. I used to work for Chevy in 2018. You used to be able to get a regular cab, 8 foot bed V8 4x4 Silverado 1500 for about 25k. That same truck today would be 50k.
-
Man I remember when 50k was top of the line for full-size
-
$40,000 for a single cab is outrageous
-
I remember when trucks were bare bones and not luxury items. I miss those days
-
can't believe a base model truck with 4x4 is over 40k

“They fixED our Taco!” So it’s fixed now? We want to see it back on the Iron Wood trail. 😃
