Easy to forget there's actually gentle people like this in the world. I wish there were more.
  • @asecretone
Love soft talking asmr. No extraneous tapping, noises, props, etc. Pure and simple.
  • @andreas9918
Love how she talks to the viewer like a friend, sitting across from her. Feels natural and comfortable.

2012 asmr was self-aware, but not egotistical. Such a shame that we lost that

This young lady was my go to back in the day. She was so honest, articulate, smart and interesting. I pray that she’s living a great life now. ❀️
  • holy cow, im so hypnotized listenting to her. she is so sweet and her voice is just making my insides melt

I remember stumbling across her videos when this whole ASMR genre was burgeoning and I was looking for my next whisper fix. She was unique and had the sweetest soul about her. Her voice was like honey and almost familiar in tone. I hope she is doing well. Her short body of work will live on in those lucky enough to recall these documented fragments of the past.

I imagined i was a kid again with no worries, hanging with a friend after school checking out cool books. Thanks, this what’s wholesome and comforting.

Thank you for uploading this. I had totally forgotten about this girl in the years that have passed. I greatly enjoyed her voice and would watch her videos in the early years of ASMR (2012/13). As with other early artists in ASMR that have disappeared over the years I wonder how she is now and what she's doing. I hope she's well. There's still plenty of great ASMR in 2021. Its gotten complex, highly creative and often very visual with our current day 4K HD cameras. But often I find myself missing the simplicity and innocence of ASMR in 2012 with people like this where soothing voices really carried the whole experience. And that's all you needed.

ASMR is such a part of my life now, my bedtime routine, my calm. This lady has such a sweet and soothing voice, it brings me back to the times I experienced asmr without even knowing what it is. Lovely x
  • I find it's best to just listen without watching. Very relaxing and peaceful her voice is lovely
  • @snavs420
Bless her heart, wherever she may be.

She was my introduction to ASMR! When she picked up the book on Walt Whitman I thought of Breaking Bad! πŸ˜‚

This is a lovely ASMR video. She's very natural and soft spoken. Nothing is staged unlike alot of ASMR these days.

Wow what a gem! This is one of the most calming and soothing videos I have ever watched. I suffer severe general anxiety and I would give anything to be so at peace as this girl is. It’s very relaxing just experiencing her presence. This is definitely going to be my new go to video, especially since it’s 90 minutes long! Thanks so much for saving and uploading it. Hopefully Aurette doesn’t mind.

Lauren was brilliant. She was one of the pioneers. She studied it and took it seriously. Certain nuances in her actions were so deliberate but lowkey. No one these days can do what she and some of the other originals could do.
  • People like Aurette are gifted and give us so much without knowing it. The whispering community seemed like such a chill n relaxing place to hang. Sad it disappeared but glad to have archives like this to be able to witness how things were back in the days.
  • I love this old traditional softly spoken ASMR. No tapping or scratching etc, just a nice friendly voice that can make you relax with an interesting story.
