This is my morning routine with my 12 month old while recovering from spinal fusion back surgery and while on treatment for metastatic breast cancer. This was 4-5 months after my back surgery. I wasn't able to watch my baby alone until I was almost 3 months post surgery.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for watching! This video is from early January. I have healed so much more since then and don’t have too many issues with my back anymore 😊

Thank u for protecting ur daughter on the internet. Many YouTubers don’t realize how dangerous the internet is for children!

You are a wonderful mama ❤ Taking care of yourself and your sweet baby girl while protecting her privacy…all while fighting cancer again ❤ You are an inspiration ❤

You truly are a warrior. I admire how you adapt and get on with things rather than “ poor me”” you always are cheerful despite the complications you face . What a good girl you have and you look great!❤

I remember when you were talking about being pregnant and planning for the birth, and now she's already a year old. You seem like a wonderful mom. Thanks for sharing a day in your life.

Hi Samantha, I think the phrase ,girl power, is based on you!!! Despite life's challenges you really are an amazing and natural mother. Your home looks spotless and that's having your health issues, and an active one year old to look after!!! Motherhood has definitely been in God's plans for you! I also totally respect how you keep your little one's privacy in the videos. Many You Tubers are so inclined to over share their young children. So happy that your back is improving following surgery. Keep getting stronger every day darling. Love and prayers xxxx❤❤❤❤🤗🙏💐💐💐💐
  • Samantha, Bec from Eamon and Bec was diagnosed with stage 4 BC while pregnant. You may already know of her. If not, I wanted to share. She had her baby and is moving forward. It is so good to have a new update from you. Glad you are protecting baby girl from the internet.

You are such an amazing mama! It can be so hard when you are dealing with medical complications because our precious babies don’t understand. My son has never known me not sick, my stomach completely stopped functioning before I even met my son’s dad in my early 20s. I was 24 when we found out I was pregnant and they told us if I was going to go forward (which I wasn’t okay with any other options) with the pregnancy that my body was going to suffer. And, my medical situation did get way worse, but I wouldn’t trade my son for the world. His dad was an alcoholic and abusive when he drank, so I was usually the only one taking care of my son. I had major complications with a surgery when he was 7 months old because I was the one picking up and carrying my son. Now that he is 13yrs it’s a bit easier, but he has autism and is mainly nonverbal. He knows we don’t touch mama’s tubie (feeding tube) or my Hickman line. He’s used to me always having a backpack with nutrition or meds going. But I had another big surgery at the end of November and that was rough. I knew I’d have the midline incision because I can no longer have laparoscopic surgery, but was a bit shocked to see another huge incision on my left side with 20 staples. I don’t really have help, my son is approved for respite care, but it’s hard to find someone. He still uses a pull up at night and there were times I didn’t think I could handle it, and walking the dog was another thing. I’m on IV nutrition so that’s helped me gain some strength back and my phenergan and Benadryl help with the nausea. You are so strong and have a precious little girl. I will keep praying for all of you. Btw, I so want to live somewhere with that amazing suction spot! Between my son and the dog it’s always crumb city.

That under-cabinet vacuum is awesome! Never heard of that! Good video. I like getting a little glimpse of your daughter in a safe way. Toddlers are so cute. Glad the back is better!
  • Baby is so cute! Wow that vacuum is mysterious and awesome! Nice to see you and how you're doing:)

Your daughter wanting the sunshine “shine” is so sweet. Love her room 🌈. It’s wonderful how you have adapted to taking care of her. That kitchen vacuum is AMAZING. I’m loving pajamas all day, I’m also on chemo and pajamas are so comforting. Good to see you again 🥰

Your little girl had dark hair, like her father, but now it is lighter and is a beautiful reddish color. Such a lovely baby. You're a natural and intuitive mother. Best wishes to the three of you.
  • What a Beautiful Mom you are. I'm glad your feeling better Samantha, and we're always sending Love and Prayers to You and Your Family.❤💙🧸🙏🙏🙏

Hi Samantha! Your daughter seems like a really chill baby! You are one strong mama!! I hope you have gotten over the nausea… feeling sick is the worst. Her room is so cute… very happy place! Wishing you much love! Karen 💪🏻🩷😘
  • @cindiegrimm5983
Adapting to how you do things with her is just fine. It's just wonderful to see you able to be her Mommy and play and love on her like you missed so much in the beginning and it hurt your heart. Hope the stomach bug is over soon! Take care.
  • I worry about you if its been too long between videos, thanks for the update! Glad to hear you are healing from the surgery. Gosh, you've been through a lot. And being nauseous just sucks but hopefully all the meds do their job. All the best to you and your family. XO from SW Colorado
  • Awe, your daughter is precious!💕 Continued prayers for you!🙏🏻🙏🏻
