ON JUNE 14, GERMAN TENOR JONAS KAUFMANN walked onto the stage of La Scala in Milan, the high altar of Italian opera, for one of the most highly anticipated performances of 2015. The concert made national news in Italy and, following an overflow of encores and more than half an hour of ovations, the audience was still left wanting more. Kaufmann's spectacular performance is the focus of this concert film, directed by Brian Large, which was broadcast into cinemas worldwide.

February 21, 2024. Michele S. Stumbled across " Nessum Dorma" version by Jonas Kaufmann. Have concentrated on listening to Pavarotti's and Frankiin's version and now Kaufmann's version enters the picture. Glorious and soulful! Moved beyond tears. 🎉

I can’t help comparing him to Pavarotti but I love how masculine and dark Kaufmann‘s voice is. He is so original.

Wat een betoverende, warme pracht stem met een geweldig volume. Daar raak je helemaal door in vervoering. Bovendirn zingt hij in vele talen alsof het zijn moedertaal is. zonder een Duits accent!!!! Ben helemaal weg en fan van deze tenor!!!!
