That was excellent. You should do a separate set of videos where explore each arrondissement one at a time. You could make a series. One arrondissement a day. That might be too much. Maybe, one a week.
  • I love the way you presented Paris. Having been there many times, I fully agree with your assessment of the various arrondissements. You are doing a great job Theo !

Hello! Thanks for the video! Kinda agree with your tier-list :) But I'd like to add a few things! Well I don't really think the "who lives here" applies when you put mainly residential areas in there (such as 15th)! Btw in the 15th there's rue du Commerce with a lot of specialty stores! For the 12th I'd add "la coulée verte"! In the 17th, the quartier Batignolles is really nice with a lot of restaurants, coffee shops... Also must visit "La cité des fleurs" which is a residential paved street with cute houses and a lot of trees and flowers during the spring/summer time. As for the 19th/20th you can mention the quartier Mouzaïa, very quiet, paved and colorful houses. In the 20th, the "Parc Belleville" with a great view of Paris and the street art are the heart of the arrondissement! We can also mention an Asian community in Belleville (not as much as in the 13th), so it has a lot of Asian stores and restaurants there also. Hope you learned some places, and I'd be glad to know new places also!!

I felt so in sync with where you placed each arrondissement 😂 The 2nd and 9th are my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES too!! They captured my heart from my first visit, 10 years ago, when my husband and I rented an appartment on rue de Richelieu.
  • I loved your video but I had to slow it down to evaluate your ranking of the different arrondissements. Your French/English accent is great too. Thanks.

    Love ❤️ this super insightful
  • Thank you for this. We were to Paris a few years ago for the first time and got a bit overwhelmed. I’m saving this video as it really helps non Parisians to know what is what. Love it and Thank You.
  • :hand-pink-waving:Bonjour, THEO~ ! Wonderful - wonderful review of the arrondissements! I AGREE with everything you said! Last month stayed at the Hotel George VII on Avenue de l'Opera and it was exactly as you described it! There is SO MUCH to see in Paris that it requires one to visit many times! This was only my third time! :face-blue-smiling: Merci bien! ♥

I love the 5th arrondissement so much! I remember we stayed in a hotel just down the road from the Cluny Museum, so I popped in to visit the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries. I was so enchanted! The museum felt so intimate, like a corner of Paris meant just for me. It is still one of my most favorite museums that I've ever visited. Plus of course all the restaurants!
  • I stayed in the 17th a couple of times when my daughter lived there before the pandemic, and we really enjoyed the rue de Levis and found it easy to get around from there.
  • @gemmaraoult
You’re hilarious, this was excellent 🤣 after living here for over a year already, I feel exactly the same. Thank you for this gem!!

My brother in Christ. I grew up in the 19th, it used to be unsafe but I find it much better now. And there’s SO MUCH to discover in this arrondissement, I’d say it’s definitely in the top 5.
