I definitely think they will do a custom Starfield console. When everyone was talking about the Diablo bundle not being a custom console, I figured it was because they would do a Starfield one. It just makes more sense for a game that is supposed to be Xbox's new tentpole game. They will want to market that heavily.

One of the nicest custom consoles were the last gen Gears of War consoles. I still have both of them. The level of detail was great that extended all the way to the controllers. Not sure we will ever see that level again but hopeful. The PS4 also seen some very nice custom models as well but I don't think to the level of the Gears.

Rand, I think competition is always great and hopefully it will help with the pricing over time. Right now however it is still way too expensive. In comparison I picked up a WD Black 2TB SSD to use in my PS5 for around $180. It is not only a much faster SSD but it can also be used in a PC or as external storage with an enclosure.

While I'm glad to see the Storage situation improve, it's not nearly enough, right now I can easily pick up a 2TB PS5 compatible drive for less than what the new WD Black Expansion card for the Series console will cost ($179). We need more options, Price of NVMe drives have dropped in recent months, yet Xbox prices are still high, partially due to the lack of competition and partially down to the small size nature of the cards.

I'm not into custom/special edition controllers, but I'd consider getting that Starfield controller.

With these SSD sticks coming out are they going be any different then the normal external storage devices? I have 2TB external storage for my series x but a bunch of games can't be played from the external and have to be transferred back to internal to play

I'll buy the 1TB storage when it's at 150. It's good that there's other options but still a bit high for me.

There was some update to the controller story where the seller seems to specialize in customizing controllers so it might be fake. Though I wouldn't be surprised if an official announcement is very similar to it. The Diablo SKU is in line with what you usually do with third party marketing deals and hey, more bundles is a good short/immediate step. Hoping Starfield has a custom console and it releases a bit ahead of the launch as I'm looking to grab my Series X end of July.

Diablo bundle would have been really cool if it was one of their custom consoles and custom controller and made it limited. All of their themes like that have been good so hope we start to see some more

More Competition is needed in the storage market for Xbox for sure. These prices are still way too damn high though considering what I paid for my PCs NVME.
