  • That explanation of Loki being an Asgardian and growing stronger as they age actually slipped my mind! Just like in the Avengers Assemble series where that one episode, Thanos destroyed the Avengers by making them all very old using the time stone. It worked with everyone but when he used it on Thor he only made him stronger so Thanos reset everyone.

Just a little detail i found the other day while rewatching season 1 When Mobius is talking with Loki in the time theater he says "you weren't born to be a king Loki. You were born to cause pain, suffering and death." And in the end of the series not only did Loki turn into a king but by holding the timelines he is preventing everyone from pain and suffering.

The shape of the tree also seems to give us an idea that the timeline currently held by Loki can continue to grow with all possibilities, as simple as a tree
  • @shabbirk2147
I liked the detail where Sylvie was fighting and He Who Remains stopped her by using the Tempad, but Loki did it by using his hand.
  • I thought Loki looked older. I thought it was just me and maybe just the way his facial expression was contorted for that one scene to show how difficult or how much power he had to use. Him being actually older adds so much to that entire temporal space walk.

Originally in terms of MCU shows, I had WandaVision as the best. However, Loki season 1 and especially season 2 not only easily takes the cake as the best show, but it is one of the best pieces of media that came out of the MCU. Loki may now have the best character development in the entirety of the MCU, that being equal to or even surpassing Ironman and Cap.

I already understood that loki grew older as he walked on the gangway, BUT adding this to the fact that he grew stronger at the same time too was crazy mindblowing.

My only complaint was that Loki was barely affected by the radiation while they were making it up to be something very dangerous, but after your last hidden detail, it is a very cool scene that makes complete sense with the established power system.

That detail when he was growing older and stronger literally made my mind shatter. That was such an amazing detail!!
  • @crazsky
I remember thinking, while watching the first episode when Mobius was on the gangway, about why Loki didn't go as he won't die and just age. Lad verified my thoughts with these details.

I've followed the MCU for years now and in my opinion, Loki is the best thing they've done, better than the movies and all the other series. Thor Ragnarock gave me a glimpse at the lighter side of Loki's character as he was played as a fairly unlikeable villain up to that point. Brilliantly played by Tom of course, but there weren't too many redeeming qualities to Loki as he'd be constantly stabbing (mostly figuratively but sometimes literally) people in the back. The character arc that Tom and the writers absolutely nailed to perfection in this 2 part series is a masterclass in plot, development and execution. And I also found Mobius uttering the words "Let time pass..." quite heartbreaking. Thanks also to The Canadian Lad for helping me appreciate it even more.

Always fun watching these videos. One thing to mention is that Loki was actually a Frost Giant born to Laufey. Since Frost Giants also don't age, he was able to survive the radiation.
  • I had noticed the fact that Loki aged very likely hundreds of years, and that his skin looked older and more wrinkled at the time I first saw the scene, and I loved it so much.
  • @DuncanAsia
That last detail about Loki aging and getting stronger is the most fantastic detail. WOW
  • @conwarlock3537
The moment Loki got his new outfit, in the sideways shot, he also really reminded me of Kid Loki, and the whole thing reminded me of the growing up scene we got for Thor, where he runs through the forest
  • @SealionsRenegade
I know Loki is technically a Frost Giant and might not follow the Asgardian aging rules but we see in Seaons 1 when Loki met "classic" Loki that the older he gets the stronger he becomes. Some foreshadowing there
  • @Michlwhtn
Favorite detail would be hearing Mobius say “let time pass” as we zoom in on Loki.. absolutely brilliant, beautiful, amazing all of the above! Fantastic sign off to MARVEL’s greatest hero!! We love you Tom Hiddleston! 🙌🙏
  • The director's knew what they were doing this season they never second guessed them selfs once with such a perfect and sad ending.
  • @AnandMishere
The only character who can save not just the Multiverse but also the MCU
  • Damn that last detail is really interesting it could be the possibility but I don't want our Loki to get old soon
