🧶 Crochet that's kind to EARTH ~ Ethical Sources 🧶 Flower granny squares | Craft & Chat

Published 2022-01-01
Hello Crafters! How can we make our crafting more sustainable and loving for our planet and animals...

🧶 Ethically sourced yarns ~ re-use: source from local charity shops, thrift stores, yard sales, from friends and contacts' old projects.

🌱 Plant-based and sustainable fibres ~ Organic cotton, bamboo, hemp, linen...

💛 Caring for synthetic yarns ~ re-use and recycle, wash in a "Guppyfriend" bag.

🌎 Love for the planet and all its life-forms, in our craft ~ use our gut to feel what is most ethical sourcing and use of fibres.

Happy Crafting! A year after filming this I have now finished this blanket - it just needs blocking but I'm so happy I persevered and made all these beautiful flowers. I love being gifted yarn that no one else wants to use and getting really creative with it :) Where do you find your yarns from?
