Type 3 instant coffee is coffee that has been freeze dried to make it last longer and is a milder roast. Type 1 and Type 2 are spray dried and is a more acidic darker roast of coffee. A lot of people prefer the older Type 2 over the modern Type 3 because of its better taste.

Never eat anything labeled "Egg" out of an MRE expecting anything tasty..... you've gotta learn from experience to use a little less water in the beverages etc... use the salt, pepper and obviously the hot sauce to supplement "flavor".... but guess what?.... "FOOD IS A CRUTCH YOU CAN MARCH TWO DAYS ON CAFFEINE, NICOTINE AND HATE" LoL
