don’t be overly sad. 70’s was when an angel agreed to marry me. We built a tiny house and had first 2 of 4 children. She has passed now but not from my heart. The 70’s gave us special memories no one can take away. We missed the war and the holocaust and some of us Vietnam so don’t have the horrors others do. 70’s were good to us, treasures deep inside us. Every time we listen to this music others around us may never know our secrets.

As Dick Clark said it best “Music is the soundtrack of your life”. How true that is. I’m 78 and every time I hear an oldie but goodie it brings back memories of a youth long past. The music, dates, dances, high school, cruising, surfing, proms, just a special, a very special time time in your life. How I thank God that I was born and grew up in the 50’s and 60’s.

The perks of growing up with older parents is that I got to listen to and love this music. Now I sit here with my older boyfriend, enjoying these timeless classics yet again. Life’s interesting that way. ❤️
