The Autumn Leaves is one of the most wistful and melancholic songs I have found in my life. And Chet Baker and Ruth Young's interpretation happens to be my personal favorite.

Whenever I listen to this particular piece, I feel almost carried away by certain emotions. A quiet calm or a deep sadness, the line between these two emotions often remains blurred.

So here is to my attempt at capturing that sense of quiet wakefulness. An emotion bordering on a dream, something I believe only semi-realism can reach.
