drapery ▧

I've never really done drapery studies before haha. I thought it was time sooooo....

Here is a collection of drapery studies that I did last week. They were actually pretty fun tbh :D I'll definitely be doing more.

For controls, use the space bar, arrow keys, and arrows on the screen to advance to the next study.

I also have not been using my pencil blender thingy to the best of its ability. I don't actually know what its called, but its that little piece of paper that is all rolled up into a point and can be used to blend pencils together haha. If anyone can tell me what it's called, I'd be grateful. No matter what the name is, though, I used that thing in these studies, and I really like how it worked, so I'll probably be using it more in new studies.

So, @geijutsu says they're called blending stumps or tortillons. Do with that what you will.

Also, I haven't been able to find that many good drapery references online, so for the last three studies, I drew from life using a little square piece of muslin that I found in my room :D If anyone has some good references for draperies, please put them in the comments!
