Appearance: Kura has mild brown hair and dark blue eyes. She wears a homemade cat hat a guy gave her. Her striped scarf is big enough to cover her mouth. Her sweater says "In Fact..." because she normally says that when she's upset and needs to be alone. Her jeans are a dark gray and she wears dark blue sneakers.
Backstory: When she was 5 years old, her parents had a car accident and died, leaving her with her aggressive aunt and her two 18-year-old cousins. She was bullied and unloved, making her extremely shy and nervous. She met a guy named Hikari when she was 13, and fell in love when she first saw him. He gave her that hat and told her he was in love with her. He was her boyfriend for a month, until Kura found out he had another girlfriend. Her once happy heart broke, and her dignity faded away. She was about to rip the hat into tiny pieces, but she only ripped one eye off it. She escaped, leaving her life and all the pain of it behind.
She started to paint Impressionism a years later, and sold her art in the streets. She lived with an old gentleman named Sanzo. She had some wonderful years then. Happiness returned to her and her talent at painting got her a bit of fame. She even started to paint in the streets and sang "In Fact" to the people who stopped by while she was painting. One day, she got a letter from Hope Peak, telling her about her talent with art. Hoping that it was a chance to start a new chapter of her life, she accepted.
Extra: She is REALLY quiet and shy, but she sometimes replies to questions by singing "In fact..."
