scene I. after the party at the capulet household, romeo hides from his friends in the shadows, miserable at his newfound discovery
scene II. also known as the famous balcony scene. he discovers he has entered the capulet household and is underneath juliet's balcony, who indirectly confesses to him and he lets himself be known in joy. the two make vows to each other and other declaratives concerning ~love~ヽ(͡◕ ͜ʖ ͡◕)ﾉ
scene III. romeo tells the friar about juliet and is met with the friar's disapproval at his unreliable love, jumping from person to person. still, the friar agrees to marry him in order to hopefully end the feud between the montagues and capulets
scene IV. the nurse seeks out romeo in the streets and waits for romeo's friends to leave. she warns romeo not to try anything on juliet, then happily agrees for the two to marry in the afternoon
scene V. after pestering/teasing her for a bit and dragging out telling her, the nurse informs juliet about the news, who reacts enthusiastically
scene VI. the two get married in private, and the friar warns romeo to not rush in too fast and be cautious. this piece of advice is unfortunately ignored

we finished romeo and juliet in class a few weeks ago. i thought the first third of the play was actually quite funny but after that, it got a little bit dull ;; definitely interested in reading shakespeare's other plays now, though :D
