This game was made for the 2021 Newgrounds Summer Game Jam! This has been the first real game jam I've ever done, I've always tried other ones but they would usually give me pretty bad anxiety or just didn't inspire me so I would never finish. However, I tried this one because why not. I'm glad I lost my Game Jam Virginity to Newgrounds tho, wouldn't want it any other way!
This game is pretty simple and small, It's inspired by getting over it, BOTW's Climbing mechanics and Kirby's Dreamland. But I really like the player controller of this game. The overall Game Jam process was cool, but not really my thing. It probably doesn't help that most of my creative energy is going into my big project and most decisions made in this game were an afterthought. In all honesty, this game is alright...
