Over the past month, the YouTube community has been turned upside down over the doxxing of Jacksfilms by Sssniperwolf, prompting questions about the very nature of internet beefing, what is and isn't allowed in creator feuds, where the line is and why crossing it sets a dangerous precedent. I would like to add an additional perspective to the conversation, based on what I perceive to be a double standard coming from YouTube, whose response to this drama has been widely criticized - but I also believe the community at large is missing an important piece of the puzzle.
