My name is Mark Stephens, born and raised in Jersey (Channel Islands) until Oct 2019 when my mum, dad & I moved to the UK to be closer to family.
I plowed my own path getting an AirBNB with a famous winter athlete, I stayed until June 2020 because of Covid. Whilst there I reflected on myself & my life and decided now was the time, I was finally going to lose the WEIGHT! I was a mamoth 32st9, for those that work in kilos that's over 207.
Thanks to the loan of some old gym free weights, constantly walking for miles multiple times a day often with the nextdoor's dog Oscar & determination plus wafer style chocolates to have on cheat days (cheat your diet to remind yourself what you're fighting for & your mind thinks I had a chocolate bar, not a wafer) I lost 15 of the 17 stone that year. Even in your 40s it's not too late, hard sacrifices for joy later.
Bad was just around the corner & been struggling ever since, plus the loose skin the NHS said is purely cosmetic and won't operate, thanx
