About Boulder and Smokey

Bolder and Smokey are the real deal Anatolian Shepherds from Turkey. We live on Palomar Mountain in San Diego Ca.
We highlight videos that show their athleticism. As you will see, they are super athletic, nimble, loyal, and are great representations of the breed.
Anatolian Shepherds are not Kangals.
Our elevation is 5600' so we get a pretty good amount of snow, which they love.
They protect us, goats, rabbits, chickens, and kittens.
one of our biggest threats is mountain lions. Mountain loins simply choose to stay away.
Boulder and Smokey are socialized enough for trips into town, and get along well with other dogs.
They are a two-year-old brother and sister, two years old and are AKC registered.
Boulder is about 130 lbs and Smokey is about 100 lbs.
I think Smokey can run about 40 mph, but I've got to get her on radar.
They eat chicken with bones, shrimp, rice, pork, beef...(leftover Chinese food)
We are super proud of them.
These dogs are great protectors!
