This channel displays highlights and games for the Bellaire high school (Ohio) Big Reds and other schools of the upper Ohio river valley, mostly within the OVAC. This channel is now preserving the visual material from the Bellaire High School Archives. Much of it has been unseen for many decades and needs to be transferred before the film quality decays. Fortunately, this process has begun while the majority of material is still in good condition. Earliest film transferred is from the 1936 football season. Many former schools lost to consolidation are represented (Wheeling, Moundsville, Wintersville, Buckeye South, Edison South). This is a not-for-profit channel that is for preserving history, learning about the past, and celebrating the present.
