I have the record for the best Dutch result on the International Mathematical Olympiad ever. :)

The year is 2022, and the IMO was in Oslo.
Bus stops were decorated with quotes of the participants, and the boulevard in front of the palace had banners down the street lights.

The first day of the IMO went great. I got a perfect score, with half an hour to spare. I wrote on the paper that I was bored. My score was 777.
Second day went pretty good as well, as I solved every problem in its majority. My score was 754.

In total, I had 37 points out of 42, with 34 points as cut-off for a gold medal. My relative score was 97%, beating the previous Dutch record of 39 years ago, when China didn't yet competed.

My time in Oslo was the best experience in my life, even aside from my record.
